The aim of this project is to engage with young people through an innovative mobile outreach van. Our van, is equipped with onboard cooking facilities, enabling our team to provide a hot drink and a snack. When connecting with young people, we host pop-up activities such as arts & craft and football, as well as signposting them to existing youth facilities, encouraging them to take part in positive clubs such as boxing and cricket.
Our existing community work is based around Oasis Academy Mayfield and Oasis Academy Sholing, and provides support to 2000 young people in the area. We have links with two other secondary schools in the area, doubling our local reach.
Areas we cover
Friday evenings 7.30-9pm (starting 30th May) we will be at Oasis Academy Mayfield alongside the Premier League Kicks football session run by Saints Foundation.
